I always enjoy a difficult quote and the following one by Samuel Johnson qualifies.
"That to the
vulgar canst thyself apply,
Treading a better
path, not contrary." Johnson.
-- The best and
holiest will not seem to go contrary to others, but as if they could afford to
travel the same way, they go parallel but on a higher course.' And by their example
helps to reprimand, reprove and show a better way.
