"We tend to want to do things on too large a scale, to affect great masses of people, to influence numerous hearts. An author should be more than content if he finds that he has made a difference to a handful of people, or given innocent pleasure to a small company."  Arthur Christopher Benson

This reminded me of Mother Teresa's encouragement to do little things with great love. If I have fallen down in my Christian walk, most often it is in this way. I'm reminded of the song,"There is a Balm in Gilead" that says, "If you can't preach like Peter and you can't pray like Paul, you can tell your next door neighbor, He died to save us all."
