Hi Joseph,
yes it is a difficult path to follow, and when I meet a person that is truly giving, I can't help but immediately like them, and want to be around them. But, like you, I wish there were more to point to. May we encourage each other to be that person.

Oh, I had another comment about the picture; I think other than the man's desperate anguish, the saddest part of the picture is the little girl on the right that is looking to her mother to try and determine just how bad things are. Or that is how it strikes me and I think our children do look to us to translate circumstances. May mercy come to this family.
