"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it."As I look back on my child rearing, the one thing I would have done more of, is to have had my children be more involved in works of love and mercy. I think these acts do more to teach the heart of Christ than much of the words they hear. Seeing and being part of the loving that God is doing on earth, will lodge deep within the soul, and following Christ becomes something noble within their hearts, that will not easily be dislodged by debate or doubts.
"Feed my lambs", feed them the fruits of compassion and mercy, and they will grow up strong.

This is so true. I think kids need to be fed in the way of giving. When we teach our kids these things it implants in their hearts and they never forget this for the rest of their lives. Example.
