In conversation with Joseph, a blog reader from India, I mentioned I think India has some of the most beautiful people in the world. Here are two pictures as demonstration. First the beauty in the old.

And second, the beauty in the young.

You're right, these people are beautiful. One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen is the Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Who can see the beauty and variety of this unfathomable creation and not be awestruck by the glory of God as revealed through His creativity?

It is such a blessing to have the gift of sight. To be able to drink in sites from the diversity of people, and of course nature.
But even without sight, the beauty that reaches deepest within is the inner beauty, which even blindness cannot hide. If we were to lose our sight, much of life would be deminished, but if we lose the gifts people give, we shrivel and only exist.

I was totally surprised to see the photos posted by you. When you said beautiful people, I thought you will post the pictures of Aiswariya Rai, Susmitha Sen, Yuktha Mookey, Diana Hayden etc who won Miss Universe and Miss World contests.

You saw beauty in the ordinay people and not the commercialised ones. Ordinary people like me look to beauties paraded on the ramp and not at the beauties all around us. I must admit that you, in your spiritual wisdom, have opened my eyes.

Yes, I must admit these are beautiful, innocent, pure, unspoilt people who lead simple, uncomplicated lives with utmost trust in God and without moaning and groaning.

God bless you and keep you in his care!
